Born and raised in California, Matt discovered a passion for acting and screenwriting at a young age. After earning awards as an accomplished jazz musician, he found a passion for acting in college and quickly moved to Los Angeles.

Matt found early success with TV appearances on Sacrifice, For All Mankind, Physical, and Young Sheldon.

Matt holds an MA in Screenwriting from Western Colorado University, and runs and hosts a podcast about mental health and superheroes called "My Heroic Life." Matt is currently developing an original feature film, along with several planned appearances in projects shooting in 2024.
